Sullivan County

Sullivan County is part of the Kingsport–Bristol–Bristol, TN-VA Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is a component of the Johnson City–Kingsport–Bristol, TN-VA Combined Statistical Area, commonly known as the "Tri-Cities" region. 

Morrell Cave (also known as Worleys Cave) is a Tennessee State Natural Area. The cave has a surveyed length of 4.4 miles, making it the second longest cave in East Tennessee and the 177th longest cave in the United States.

Sullivan County has several protected areas such as, Applachian Trail, Cherokee National Forest. State protected areas include Morrel's Cave State Natural Area, Rocky Mount State Historic Site, and Warrior's Path State Park.

The fastest-growing county east of Knoxville, it is home to East Tennessee State University.

Knox County is a county in the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2010 census, it is the third-most populous county in Tennessee, and the 153rd-most populous county or county-equivalent in the nation. Its county seat is Knoxville, the third-most populous city in Tennessee.

Knox County is included in the Knoxville metropolitan area.

The county is at the geographical center of the Great Valley of East Tennessee. Near the heart of the county is the origin of the Tennessee River at the union of the Holston and French Broad rivers.

Johnson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2010 census, the population was 18,244.[2] Its county seat is Mountain City. It is the state's northeasternmost county, sharing borders with Virginia and North Carolina.

In terms of average elevation, Johnson County is one of the highest counties (if not the highest) in Tennessee. The county is home to the two highest communities in the state: Trade, at 3,133 feet, and Shady Valley, at 2,785 feet. Mountain City is the highest incorporated city in Tennessee, at 2,418 feet. The lowest point in the county is Watauga Lake, at an elevation of 1,959 feet.
